Trim around HU

I use to have a plastic piece that fit around the headunit. I took it off a while ago because of rattling but lost it. Is this a universal piece? CAn i get one anywhere?

By the way i have JVC Kameleon.

What plastic piece? The dash trim?

I think he means the plastic trim ring you don't use when the head unit is ISO-mounted.

If so, they are specific to the head unit since they clip on.

You could probably go to the place where you bought the unit and get it replaced. Especially if you had a warrenty. Otherwise I'd call JVC since they are head unit specific.

I have a clarion DX515 and a long time ago i lost my trim ring, so i took this trim ring off of an ancient cassette player we had. I had to chop the bottom side of it off because my HU flips down, but after that i just taped it onto the face (thin double-sided tape on the top) and it actually looks like that original piece.

...So what i'm saying is, try to find an orig one, if not, then find a similar one and just tape it on.....its ghetto, but it works.
