I tried searching but was unsuccessful. So I'll ask and hope to not get yelled at.

I needed an opinion. What in your opinion is the best windshield wipers out there? I have always used Bosch, but thought I'd see if anyone used anything else and had better luck with them lasting longer. Mine just crapped out on me, and they have just started to leave streaks all over my windshield. So, before the day is over I must buy new ones.

So, really I have 3 questions:
What are the best ones you've tried? How much were they? Where can I buy them at?

Thanks so much in advance for any helpful information.

Sometimes it's the windsheild's fault. Make sure you clean it off with some kitchen paper towels and rubbing alcohol before you put new wipers on as the glass tends to accumulate crap which can make you think the blades are gone. You'll be amazed as to how much filth can be reomved with the alcohol.

I just bought some new windshield wipers for my car. They are the Rain-X brand. I bought them at Wal-Mart. They are a little more expensive than MOST wipers they had there. I think I payed $9.00 + for each one. But they work GREAT. I also bought some Rain-X spray for my windshield, and it makes the rain slide right off! You hardly even have to use your wipers with this stuff. You should give it a try.

I use bosch excel ( i think) and they lasted me a whole year. I'm going to try the alcohol thing and see if it's just my window though.

I use those wiper blades. In fact I just bought the same ones again. Bosch Excel. About $24 for both blades. They work great so far. I didn't know what else to buy. So, I bought the same ones again.

I tried the Bosch Excels and didn't have very good luck either, so I went back to using the Lexors from Wal-Mart. I've been using a 24" on the driver's and 19" on the passenger's for a larger wipe area. The arm springs don't seem to have a problem with the longer blades.
My latest dilemma...Wal-Marts around here are no longer carrying the 24"...just the 28"!

So I guess it's gotta be some other brand...

Get PIAA's silicone wipers. They are the best I've ever had, bar none. They aren't cheap, just the best. I got them from autotoys.com . I honestly don't remember what I paid.
