So how do you adjust it. I have a 1995 SE V6 MTX with Traction Control. I haven't really looked into it, but it snapped and a friend who works at a ford dealer fixed it, but he didn't adjust the cable (he's the worst mechanic I know) so I only get about 1/2 of my throtle movement... I think my friends must have paid him to slow me down.

I had the same problem when I bought my car. Look under the hood where the throttle cable connects to the throttle body. There is a bracket that holds the cable in place, to release the cable there is a metal retainer that you need to pull up. When you do this you can slide the cable back and forth and take up the slack. Be careful not to take up all the slack or else your car won't idle properly.
