i have :

1) replaced fuel filter
2) replaced MAF sensor
3) replaced spark plugs
4) removed entire upper intake, cleaned (3 small EGR holes were badly plugged)
5) pulled fuses on eek-four, and also reset codes on it

i am not getting any check engine light

when i put the jumper on to pull codes from the computer, i'm getting 3,3 (long pause) 1, (long pause), 3,3

if you found a code that has to do with the EGR valve then most likely thats the problem. The EGR has a sensor on it that senses valve position, if the valve doesn't move when its supposed to then you'll get a CEL.

I sugest you do what was suggested, remove the throttle body and all the other throttle related stuff to clean the ERG ports in the intake manifold and remove the EGR valve and see if you can clean it as well, this is also a good time to replace the valve.

After everything is clean, reassemble everything with new gaskets to ensure there are no leaks.

I know if the valve doesn't work a check engine light will come on, but there is no sensor to check for flow of gasses through the valve.

I can't think of any ways to test the valve to see its working.

The only thing I can think of to confirm the code you found is to take the car to a shop and have a diagnostic check done where they can pull any codes stored in the computer.
