Well I think I am going to try to fix my tranny problem myself. Since I don't have a hoist I must pull the motor to get to the tranny. I was wondering if anyone who has pulled their 2.5 could shed some wisdom on me, for thing to look for or things that might help me in doing this. I could also use some ideas on what to replace or redo while I have the motor out, plugs,wires....you know the maitenence stuff(go faster stuff) within reason I am already putting a new tranny in so I am somewhat limited on money , I am already going to put in a fidanza but I just wanted some more ideas.
Thanks

Pull the tranny and engine out as a unit.
It's much easier than doing them seperate.

If you are thinking Flywheel be sure to do the clutch while you're in there. (i believe spec stage 1 is the preference)

While the motors out, this is also an excellent time to upgrade the stabilizer end links and bushings.

Get a good look at your accessory drive... remove the belt and inspect the pullies, esp the idler and tensioner.

Careful pulling your halfshafts... don't want the CV's to come apart on you.

I'm sure there's more, hopefully one of the wise will chime in and point out anything I haven't thought of.

Good Luck!
