I'm new to the board, but have a quick question. Has anyone used, or is anyone currently using these tires. If so, what is your opinion? Im looking into some new summer tires, and wondering how these are.

I think they are awesome. They are about as close to a racing tire that you can get with decent treadware for the street. Granted, I would not recommend using them in any adverse weather, but in the dry they were the best tires I've ever used. I got about 15,000 miles out of them on my last car and would not hesitate to get them again.

It depends on what you are looking for in a tire...
Hands down, they are one of the stickiest tires you can put on your car short of race rubber. Excellent dry grip. Suprisingly good in the rain, though I have heard they are a terror in the snow. They are also rather noisy as tires go. 10 - 15K miles per set. The price is right. *shrug* Depends on where your priorities are, really.

Which Azenis?? the sport or the ST115's? ST115... Sport.... The sports are basicly a auto cross tire. Very soft, and very poor tread life. They might last you 10k if your easy on them. you would probably kill yourself in the rain on them as well (or so I've heard). But they own the dry. I had some Ziex 512's before I sold my 18"s, by far the best tire I have ever driven, quiet too! If the rest of the falken tires are as good as those you wont be disapointed.

Thumbs up, thumbs up, thumbs up...if your looking for a grippy tire in the dry that works well, but not outstanding, in the wet. I'm on my second set and couldn't be much happier with them. Only thing I would like is a bit stiffer siedwall on the 205/55/16. As they wear two things happen, they get noisy, and their decent wet traction degrades. Overall though, I've been VERY happy with them...and the price is right. They look good on the car as they seem fairly wide for a 205 and fill up the wheel well. I got 15,000 mi out of my first set...with 5 autocrosses and a 75 mi track day. I have seen few tires wear this well under race conditions...most just fall apart. I'm only going to get 10,000 out of my second set with only two autocrosses, hmmmm, rough pavement I guess. Anyways...I recommend them. And enough grip to make your car do this.

Actually, the sports have surprisingly good treadware compared to other tires of the like. I got 15,000 without rotating, and wouldn't doubt you could get the same on a contour if you did. Obviously they are not meant for rain, but I thought they did fairly well there as well. Just don't try them in freezing weather or the snow

I have them(sports) and they are pretty good in the rain so I don't know how anyone would kill themselves... They are obviously not winter tires... Buy them if your going to use them... If your just gonna use them for normal driving get something with a better tread rating since they wear quick. I went through half the tread in an oil change (5000kms) upfront its not because I spun the tires or did burn outs either

My SVT did that all the time when I was running in GStock with Kuhmos, and I have no doubt it could be done on Azenis(sport) as well. My stock suspension was supplemented with Koni adjustable struts on all corners. I am guessing that Brentos may have the same. Nice pic, by the way.
With regard to Azenis in the rain, I have only heard good things. The schools seem to be split in the autocross arena on the hot rain tire, with many choosing the Azenis, even in the stock classes. Those that don't usually go with the Hoosier Dirt Stocker, though I have to wonder if contengency money might play a factor. It goes without saying that as they wear, the wet traction is going to fade.
