When I drive 45-70 m/hr the front end of my car shutters. It gets progressively worse above 45, but stops above 70. It only recently started doing this. Is this caused by faulty front sway bar links or front tires out of balance? Anybody that this has happened to I would appreciate any help.

I've been told if you can "drive through it" it's a tire issue.
You may have lost a wheel weight.
Have the front's balanced and see what that does.

Someone once said that they knew of a place that balanced tires while they were on the car!

Anyone ever heard of this? If so, does anyone know how this is done?

That is kind of what I figured. I just wanted to know if anyone else had this happen.

Sway bar links help keep the car level when making turns. A speed sensitive shudder felt in the steering wheel is more likely tire balancing.
