Can anyone show me exactly how i would go about taking the side mirror off. Or atleast expalein it in a little detail. I have looked around and noticed a round circular plastic insert in the panel on the inside of the door where i assume the manual mechanism would have gone. Does this pease coem out or am i missing the obvious. I know that there are two screws on the underside of the mirror but i could not find any screw to realease it form the actual car. Any help would be gratly appreciated.
thanks

You need to remove that cap and there should be a screw in there that you can remove that takes off the inside cover. Then there should be some more screws holding on the outside of the mirror under the cover. I can't remember if the plug is connected in the mirror or right when you take it off but the rest just comes apart with those 2 screws on the bottom once you get it off the car.

To remove the cap you will need some sticky stuff!
I used weather stripping to pull the plastic cap off. Some people have uses duck tape, that did not work for me.

Any material with a STICKY SIDE will do. May take several tries.

I have also heard someone use a razor blade to get in between the two plastic pieces. Just be careful!
