Not exactly the way I wanted my first post on this board to start...
Driving home over the weekend and creeping forward in a construction zone, the inner drivers side CV joint pops!! I was stranded for almost 4 hours before a tow truck was able to come get me!
Going through the CV joint yesterday, it appears that the retaining clip inside the CV joint snapped in half allowing the joint to come apart.
Has anyone else had a CV joint go bad this early in the life of their car??
I can't believe that it popped when it did as I was very gentle on the clutch the entire time...
