I'm having the "moshing" problem when running my V6 in the cold. I've read the writeup on this issue and some of the parts are costly for the repair so i wanted to know if anyone else has experience remeding this problem first. I've also read the solution for using an intake restrictor plate in one of the hoses, but "restriction of air" is not something im a fan of, so again, i just wanted to know if anyone has experience on this before continuing, thank you.

Stop cross-posting.

Instead of inserting something into the hose, just use a tube clamp with a screw that tightens and loosens and wrap it around the hose. Experiment with the throttle and the tighness of the clamp until the mossing is gone.

Do you mean "moosing"? The copper plug works great.

The fix in the How To section for the Throttle Hang will generally also fix the moosing. The restriction is of the idle air intake for the Idle Air Control (IAC) valve & has NO EFFECT on the main intake at the Throttle Body (TB).

In fact, if you have a manual transmission, you will notice shifting the gears of your car will become markedly smoother & easier to modulate & predict. That alone is worth the $0.30 it will cost in parts. For less than $1, give it a try. Given the info in paragraph 1 you have everything to gain.

Must be that jumbly-wumbly thing happening again.
