While flushing my cooling system the other day I unhooked the connector from the T/C motor ( battery was disconnected) to get more access to the resevoir. When I put everything back together I forgot to connect that connector and started the car. Of course the T/C light came on and I quickly figured out what I had done. Disconnected the battery to clear the code and hooked up the connector and then reconnected the battery, but I still get the light and my T/C is dead. Any ideas? Do you think I fried the computer? eek

I suspect that you did not disconnect the battery long enough the last time to erase the code that set the light. It is not likely that anything was damaged from what you have described. Disconnect the battery for about 30 minutes and see if the light stays off.

Left the battery disconnected over night, nil fix. Could it be anything other than the computer that would be toasted that easily? Also have an intermitant coolant light even though I know levels are fine? Any connection?

I doubt that they are related. The low coolant light problem is a well known fooblie of the Contique. Usually it is only necessary to slightly rais the coolant level in the bottle. About 1/2" usually does it. The level sensor seems to be over sensitive.

As for the traction control light, it's time to start through the diagnosis proceedure unless you can see anything else that you left disconnected.
