OP Doba New CEG\'er D Joined: Oct 2003 Posts: 13 Phoenix, AZ	I am trying to make it so nobody knows what kind of car I have. I have done the mesh grill, removed badges, and replaced the side sails. How can I get rid of the rear Ford emblem on the trunk? Is there a chrome insert? Every hour wounds. The last one kills. Black 99 SVT

PS ive done exaclty what your doing,by removing all the emblems, people always think its an escort or taurus. it insults me when they say ahh nice escort http://www.myspace.com/mycainsbroken

Klasse Act Hard-core CEG'er K Joined: May 2000 Posts: 9,196 Macomb Township MI USA	When I had the stock Tour center reflector/tailights I just went to Pepboys and bought this blackout tape (used to cover up unwanted chrome trim) This worked real well and I even went as far to buy the small SVT emblem from the 1994-95 Cobra/Lightnings to put in there. It fits w/o any problems, but you do have to bend it down a little bit when installing it because of the curvature, no biggie I assume you could use electrical tape as well and even though your going to have to overlap the tape because its not going to be wide enough, who cares, because if you put the SVT emblem in there you'll hardly notice it Also, before I forget, I did the same thing to Ford emblem in the front as well, it looks like it came that way, a "must do" mod for the SVT enthusist looking for something different, but not cheap lookin' Last edited by The Striped SVT; 11/15/03 09:10 PM. I get it all the time..."what kind of car is that?" From what i read it's something you'll probably want to do on the front. Makes chipping and all that less likely I guess.
