This company says they only have the tweecer for the 1999 SVT 2.5L. Im curious if anyone has swapped the nonSVT PCM/ECU to a SVT PCM/ECU?

Thanks, SNB

Yup I've swapped PCM's. I went from a stock cougar PCM to SVT PCM. Drive it to the dealer and ask them to program the new keys to a different PCM. Swap PCMs in the lot and have them reprogram the keys there. It cost me about $100 for the swap and $50 for the PCM.

BTW it's a 2000 SVT and the XGT1 code for the KBAN7 processor.

Like Blackcoog said you will need the new style PCM and to have your keys reprogrammed.

Also being returnless is a must as the code only supports the returnless fuel system.

2000 SVT #674 13.47 @ 102 - All Motor! It was not broke; Yet I fixed it anyway.
