Hey guys, I am talking with a mechanic that says putting a 5.0/302 cu in engine with a T5 transmission and conversion to RWD (rear wheel drive) is possible. He wants to do it, all I have to say is go for it, he is not charging me labor all I have to do is find the parts he tells me to get.
Is this at all possible? Is there room enough to do it? If it is possible, I will go through with doing it. If he is so far off, and probably smoking something i'll just buy something else.
Let me know! He wants to put a mustang rear end so it'll be RWD.

Heck, if he's not going to charge labor...
He's going to have to cut some tin, and it's not like if he screws it all up you'll just be able to "return it to stock."
But other than that, I'm not sure what you'd have to lose if you're willing to pay for the parts.
Function before fashion.

parts would probably total to 2K for tranny, engine, etc. USED. Hmmmm. . .I'd be interested to see this. . .of course you might lose your car, but for the CEG collective OOOOOH, AWWWWW factor, it's well worth it.
