well my car overheaded the other day and am pretty sure it was the waterpump. This is going to be the second one for the car since i bought it. How hard would it be to change it (i guess time wise also) thanks everyone

You have a 3L and don't even know how to change your water pump? I'm sorry....

By the way i didn't do the install for the 3 liter. But think this will be more in my area.

Read the how-to from the FAQ section, look the location over on the car, then decide if you wish to become a DIY type. Not difficult, but access is, coolant draining messy.

Make sure you get a Durapro pump with the metal impeller. I have one still in the box on my workbench if anyone wants it. I don't need it as the 2000's have an upgraded impeller.
