Has anybody tried putting an aftermarket amp in the stock ones location behind the glove compartment?

If so what amp did you use and how did you get it to fit/stay in place?

I haven't heard of anybody using the location. The only amp I'd consider for that location would be one of Blaupunkt's class T amps due to their small size and very low heat output.

One of those "80 watt power booster" things that used to be made by the likes of Kraco or Sparkomatic would fit there

(Not that it'd be an upgrade over the factory amp..)
