wow.. these guys must have some big insecurities down there.. haha just kiddin must have taken a long time and alot of work! those dyno results are crazy! too bad they couldnt use a stang for the body.. custom flowmasters too! the car would barely be driveable with all that torque it would rip your neck off i imagine..

Cool setup, and it looks like there is a lot of work put into it, but Im wondering why they are using 4 turbos when there are many small block Mustangs out there that are making the same power with a single turbo. I can think of 3 just in Albuquerque that make that much power (dyno proven) and you even see them prowling the streets sometimes. Granted not for very long I would think it would be so much easier to just use a single turbo and stay away from all that plumbing and the nightmare of making it all work together.

you answered your own question-- the point is that a turbo is really hard on your engine- that's why those mustangs w/ a single turbo aren't out there driving around "for very long"
2 turbos are easier on an engine than 1, and so presumably 4 would be better, and give you a $hitload of power

The engine breathes through two scoops in the lower portion of the nose. They are based on jet engine intakes to maximize the flow of air into the engine without increasing the drag from the body cutting through the air
now that's what i call functional

the reason the three turbo mustangs are pulling the same power as that four turbo is simply because they are fords and thats a camaro

Read again, I said they dont last very long being driven ON THE STREET. They are race cars, not street cars. Quote the whole post next time
As for realibility, they last just fine on the track, which is where they were meant to be used. Lets see this Camaro last 50 miles in traffic without overheating, loading up on fuel or generally being a pain to drive. Its just not doable. I applaud the work that they put in to the car, and if it makes stupid amounts of power, then thats cool, too.
But I dont see how they can call this a "street car" with a straight face. Street legal drags my ass ..... If this guy can drive it to work a few days a week and be comfortable, then I will shut up.
I have personally seen a Mustang drive to a dyno shop, put out all a 2000 hp chassis dyno can handle and then drive home. Did he live a long way from the shop, heck no. Super-thin lightweight brakes and a track setup suspension are not the best thing for the street.
The way I see it, you could use 20 turbos to make 30 psi, or just one. Its still 30 psi. So how are 4 turbos easier on an engine than one?

I don't mean any offense by this, but you sure don't know very much about Mike Moran. That same 95 Z28 was the first Street car in the 6's over 200mph, shortly after running those numbers he entered the car in the Hot Rod PowerTour and drove it across the country to prove that it was infact a street car. The car finished the tour without trouble. That car can probably be driven on the street all summer long without very many problem. Welcome to Detroit... As for 4 turbos being less stress on the engine, I would imagine that multiple turbos that spool sooner and more progressively will have less of a power spike.
