I was wondering does the SVT have the same 2.5 v6 that the SE has plus SVT parts?

Yes it's the same motor. No difference but the SVT has 195hp(98-98.5) and 200hp(99-00) becuase of bigger pistons and a thicker crankshaft and I might be missing something else. Plus the SVT has a different upper intake manifold.

Let's see what I can remember.

Air filter different with larger intake tube. Larger throttle body. Extrude honed intake manifold. Extrude honed intake ports on heads. Hotter cams. Higher compression pistons. Different exhaust from the cat back. Larger radiator. Revised PCM calibrated to the differences.

The block, crank, and rods are regular production pieces, but hand selected for SVT use.

Non engine SVT items include SVT ground effects package with air dam front and rear bumpers as well as side rocker panel skirts. Unique interior with perforated leather seats. One of the interior colors is nearly unique to the SVT, Midnight Blue. Larger front brakes. Revised suspension with slightly different struts, springs, and sway bars.

it has a bigger intake manifold and a bigger throttle body, thats about the only difference. it cant have bigger pistons because than it wouldnt be a 2.5 it would be bigger. about the crankshaft i dont know but i know that timing should be different also
