imma do what i do best and take ideas that i know look good...so, anyone know about the pre98 trunks? do they fit perfect?...svt pete you better reply to this lol...cuz i saw your pics...i wanna know about it so i can go around to the junkyards and find one...that pre looks darn tight on your car...others can leave opinion on look.
btw pete i would like a better pic of that rear if ya got one...

Direct swap, but:
- you should swap the outer taillights to pre-98 also - slightly different in shape/size/light pattern
- you will have to splice some wires to get the lights to work due to different harnesses
That's pretty much it. Just hit the junkyards and start looking!

thanks man...i somehow i have one pre headlight on the driver side...and im not really worried about the wiring...cuz i can splice into the existings ones on the other headlights right???...for the trunk lights that is...if you can pm or post me everything i might need to know on how to do it bud...thanks again

you mean tail lights right? pre 98 headlights wont fit on a post 98 and vise versa.

Once you get the trunk mounted, you will see the colored wiring. You will have to cut the existing post-98 wiring and splice into the pre-98 wiring. Make sure you have a friend help you swap trunks.

yeah i meant tailights...i think ill figure out all the swap when i get down to it...soon hopefully :-)

they are different in size so does that create a fitment issue? did u need some fill in matereal?

Pre-98 inner w/ 98+ outer.  See where the 2 meet at the top? The 98+ outer is slightly taller there. HTH
