Just curious...I thought about going this route and wondering what the consensus was or what kind of gains and times were realized. I do understand the tuning issues with fuel and such.

i was under the impression, displacement was irrelevant with nitrous? doesnt it depend on which size shot your running? like if its a 50 shot then ~ 50 hp, 75 shot ~ 75 hp, etc?

thats mostly true. what's more important is things like your compression, and making sure you run the right fuel mix.

I was speaking mainly about with a 3l and the 19lb injectors, you are about maxing your fuel system or coming way closer to it than with just the reg 2.5. Add nitrous and you need even more fuel...gains and shots are different. I have used nitrous before. Just wodnering what kind of hp was getting put down with that setup, or what the fuel system combos were being used with what size shots. Thanks.

That would be a VERY bad idea!

24lb injectors would be a must have.

Exactly. This is the route I am going. I don't know of anyone else actually running the combination yet. Lots of people have talked about it though. And a custom tune is MANDATORY!

That's the route you're going.......... If you ever get back in the states!!! The mod fairy has left for now, but I know that when you get back here I'm going to be looking for her again...

And by the way, I do remember someone running nitrous on a 3.0L but I can't remember his name... He PM'd me a couple times about my Hybrid setup and had mentioned that he was running a 125 shot on his... Sounds scary fast to me

stock SVT injectors and fuel pump are suposed to handle 330hp n/a and 300hp forced induction.

i think not! 19lb injectors are good for about 220 fwhp tops! IIRC keyser told me that even the 24lb injectors are maxed out at 300 hp.
