Traded the conotur in and got a 2004 SRT-4. I'm still breaking it in , but it's very hard to stay under 3500 r.p.m. It's blue and I'll be going to the track and I'll have it baseline dynoed in the near future.Hopefully we can meet up at HRP and have some fun. Later

I figured something like this was up when you were offering your audio stuff. Did you get a decent trade in price? I hope the SVT goes to a good home. Enjoy your new ride

How do you compare the interior and ride quality of the SRT-4 vs the Contour SVT ? I'm all about the performance of one, but I just couldn't go cloth with that Neony' gauge cluster. The Grand Prix GTP is basically my choice for now (boost plus leather plus gadgets) but I'd probably consider a Neon SRT-4 if there was a good aftermarket for improving the interior.

What's your opinion of the car ? What choices did you consider against the SRT-4, and why did you settle on the Neon ?

Peace,
Tim

I would have to say the contour's ride quality is alittle bit better, but the handling is prety even since the 04's come w/ a quaife and different tires. I don't look at the car as a direct replacement for the svt, but as something that could be fixed up easily and is fun to drive. I got 7500 for my trade in and considered all the pocket rockets on the market right now. I do think the interior of the svt was nicer, but I just couldn't afford to fix the car the way I wanted to and the mileage was climbing closer to the 100,000 mile mark. Hope to see you guys at the track. Later

P.S. The CEG card is in the glove box.
