I was wondering if a tranny from a 98 contour non svt or a 99 cougar would work in my 98 CSVT, they are priced much better and was just wondering

Yes. They will also usually be less beaten than a SVT transaxel too. Try to get a 2000+ as they have better internals.

what is so much better about the internals and I see when I am looking at the 2000+ they show 3 different part numbers for the same tranny, does it matter which one I choose.
Thanks again!!!!!!!!CEG
