Hi all, I'd like to change my radio and the manual says I need this tool to remove the stock cd player from my 98 countour (2.5L Duratec v6). Does anyone know of an alternative tool that'll work? Apparently paperclips aren't that effective
Or do anyone have one I can borrow for an afternoon?

Dito. Only ever seem to use it once per Ford though. Thank god for after market.

If you don't have coat hangers that are easily bent (or maybe they're wood or plastic which will snap after some frustration of trying to bend them ) you can just stick in 4 fairly long nails into the holes and push inward on all of them. Get someone else to pull the deck out while you're pushing.
