Ok, I've done a lot of searches and found some info, but still have some questions regarding Energy Suspension End-Link Grommets (#9.8106). The specs on these grommets are: 1" O.D., 3/8" I.D., and 5/8" nipple O.D. Assuming I can remove my stock end-links from the rear suspension, how do I fit the new grommets into place? Do I need a press or can you use a C-Clamp or something similar? Will these ES grommets even work with the stock setup or is there a better alternative available for repairing the end-links? I'm leaning toward the BAT polyeurathane bushings for the rear sway bar (16mm) and would like to replace the end-link grommets too. I'm getting that annoying "clunk" noise everytime I go over a bump! Thanks.

If its the same ones that come with the ES sway bar bushings, all you do is un-bolt the endlink, slip off the old ones, slip on the new ones, and bolt it back on. Took me around five minutes per side. Not a big deal at all as long as you have the right size sockets (stupid metric ).

The parts I want to replace are the rubber grommets that have completely deteriorated on my end-links and need to know what size grommet to buy. Short of purchasing the performanceford.com ones ($60), I would like to utilize the stock link, just "repair" it so it doesn't clunk anymore. I've already ordered the 16mm bushings from BAT and would like to tighten up the rest of the rear sway bar components while I'm under there. Are those grommets in the above photo the correct ones or should I go another route? Thanks.

SPMotorsports sells the ES rear bar bushings and end link grommets as a set for $10.50. I know you already ordered the BAT bushings, and I don't know for sure if the grommets are available separately, but maybe Joe or somebody at SPM can help you acquire the grommets, or figure out the part number.
Function before fashion.

Just ordered the set from SPMotorsports. They are really nice there. Anyway, anyone know what size socket I need for the end-link bolts? I need to purchase a deep socket to reach the lower mounting bolt. Thanks!

I 'repaired' mine with some garden hose last summer. Perfect fit.

I had to modify the ES grommets for fitment. First, I had to drill out the inner diameter so they would slide over the endlink. Second, I had to saw some height off of them since each grommet is taller than the stock rubber portion (upper & lower).

I just replaced mine this past weekend with the ES poly ones. Piece of cake! I just replaced the old soft rubber ones with the new ES ones and tightened them right back up. If I remember the nut size was 15mm, but I could be wrong. It's not hard to find out the right size anyway.

There are two different bolt sizes for the sway bar brackets and the endlink bolts. IIRC one was 15mm and the other was 13mm, so you'll need both. Btw, the endlink nut is kinda recessed (sp?) so you'll need a deep socket.
