Hi. Moved from Chicago and now living in Arlington, Va, temporarily. I would like to replace the waterpump on my Mystique LS and tried to do it myself in the basement of my building, but got as far as removing the battery and the waterpump belt. Can anyone help me? I guess I don't have all the necessary tools. I know people are busy and maybe I am better off just dropping it off at a service station. How about beer and pizza for your troubles? Thanks for reading.

Sure- We just got done with doing one on the NECO Admin's '98 Contour.

All you need is your 8mm 1/4" socket and some nimble hands to get around all the other parts and pieces.

Has your water pump failed, or are you just doing some preventative maintenance? Have you gotten the metal impeller design?

PM me if you wish- I cut CEG/NECO members a break on my hourly rates for work.

Good luck!

Hey Biochemist, moved here from Chicago myself a year and a half ago. Changed the pump right before I made the drive down here to Alexandria, VA. PM me if you'd like and I'd be happy to help you out.
