I have heard that the cure to getting rid of the coolant light in my contour is to fill the coolant all the way to the max line? Should I use a mix of coolant and water (if so, what percentage?) when I fill up the remainder to the max or just straight coolant? Just curious. Thanks.

Add 50/50 coolant/water mix until the level - with the engine cold - is about 1/2 inch above the MAX line.
