Ok so I just got my bat susp kit today and can't wait to get it all on the car. But I do have a question concerning the installation. I've been reading the how-to for the spring/strut replacement and I'm a little confused about line 15 of the rear process in the how-to. It says to remove the anit-squeak rubber/plastic sleeves from the old springs and mount them on the new springs. Ok. sounds simple enough right? Well the bat springs came w/ a length of heater hose that fits fairly snug on the bottom of the springs. Does this stay on or does it come off?? I'm confused as it talks about the anti-squeak sleeves in the how-to. Is this hose on the new springs supposed to stay on as the anti-squeak sleeve??? I know it sounds stupid but I just want to make sure. tia

It's taking about the "white-ish" polyurethane piece that goes over the actual strut rod.

Leave the pieces of hose on the BAT springs. It will stop them from rubbing together and starting to rust there (like the stock ones do!)

Matter of fact I transfered over the upper ones from the original springs as well.

Actually it's not talking about the bump stops in the how-to (atleast not that line of the how-to), it's talking about those upper parts that you say you swapped over....

If the BAT springs have room to add the stock little sleeve thing on to, then put them on,, it won't hurt anything and should help something like Demon said.

Well, it's all said and done. I just opted to leave the hoses on the springs, 1: they weren't going to come off easily, and 2: I decided that they came that way for a reason.
Once we got the rear struts off, I saw the sleeves the how to was talking about on the stock struts. There's pleanty of room on the struts for the hose to stay on the bat springs. I think it help the spring fit tighter in the strut too and means no clunking down the road. Now why can't the front be just as simple as the rears were. LOL
Thanks for the suggestions guys.

Yes, it's all done. Ride is very compliant over rough roads. Still kinda rough and bouncy as it hasn't completely settled yet. Over all though I give it 5 's.
There is VERY minimal brake dive now and it just hugs the road around curves and corners. Definately a 100% improvement over the worn out stock susp. There was an immediate 1/2" drop and after one weeks time, it really hasen't gone much lower but it has been cold and I don't know if that has anything to do w/ how fast it will settle out to the final drop height.
