I was thinking about it before but didn't go. They, and probably any other rust proofing place, won't give you any warranty on their work unless your car is new. So you can pay about $100 and if rust still appears, you're out of luck. But from what I've heard and read, it does work.

I have done it since I bought my car at Krown. I think they have some kind of used car warranty too. It is worth the money. I have no rust at all on my car.

yeh good sh!t. no need to do it every year tho. I did mine last year, and its still leaking out of the pre drilled holes. All summer I had the Krown stuff running on my bumper.

I disagreed, I think it should be done annually. Yes there may be some stuff left but the spots that will need it the most may not be protected. Once you go you are guaranteed that price each year if you do it with 30 days of that original date. Also, as with everything there are good Krown places and bad ones. You have to find one that is recommended by someone you can trust.
My car is a mess right now because of it but it will be clean on the weekend.

Which Krown do you use in Toronto? It's my SVTF's first winter and I want to make sure I get it protected.
Also - what is this "mess" you're referring to? Does Krown make your car messy? How so, how long, and is it hard to clean?

Thanks for the previous replies... Here are a couple more questions.
1. Anybody use the Rutherford Road in Brampton location? 2. Any truth to the fact the there is some seepage or dripping for 2-3 days after the application?

My Contour gets the KROWN treatment every year. It does wonders for the underbody (I spend time under there too! ). And keeps the rust away from all the other rust sensitive spots. Door action is much smoother after the treatment so you just gotta watch it on windy days! I live with the dripping for a couple days and at least a month with the streaking coming from the front of the hood and trunk lid over the rear bumper. Preserves the car and it's worth it! The Burlington location is definetely recommended.

I use the one in Newmarket. There is a little dripping for a couple of days at the most but not very much. As for the streaking on the car. Yes that is there for a while but it is very manageable. I would rather that than wondering if there is anything left on my car.

I'm also looking at getting this done.
Is this better then Ziebart?
Are there Pro's and Con's of each?
Any input would be helpful.
