Ok so sat night was NOT a good night after all... well at least not for me... For those that were there at ihop, remember me talking about a ticking sound when i step on the brakes??? well it was also doing this ticking sound driving slowly. So going home that night I'm cruising along when all of a sudden, there is this horrible shudder/shaking from the driver's front wheel. So I pull over and inspect everything... all looks normal. get back in and start driving and the shudder gets extremely worse this time. End results... I somehow managed to shear off the lug bolts and the wheel was about to fall off!!! hence the shuddering. Soooooooo, had to end up limping the car home from about the occc area on I-44. And it turns out that the ticking sound... was the first lug bolt and nut clunking around under the cover. and the others just finally went ka-put. who knows how long it had been off too. The good news is that it is now fixed w/ new lug bolts on the drivers side and awaiting the new bolts on the pass side when I do the suspension w/ the bat kit which shipped on the 23rd. YAY!! anywho just wanted to share. and just so you know. my car has never seen an impact wrench to tighgen the lugs either, always tightened by hand. guess after 111k miles whose complaining...
