My CHECK ENGINE LIGHT light came on this evening. FIRST TIME EVER How do I find out what the problem is? What is needed to get the code numbers and identify the problem/problems. HELP!!! In My Chrysler proper ignition switching, access. on/off/access. on/off/access. on, then the CEL light would flash the code numbers for the problems. How on my '98 Zetek????

Ha! Counter Enthusiast Light! That's great.

You can go to Auto Zone and ask them to scan your car for the codes. I did this just a couple of weeks ago. The guy just went out there, hooked up the scanner, and brought back the codes.

Good luck!
