HELP!! I have most of my pump off except for the upper hose to the pump that will not come off for anything. someone posted that you dont have to remove the whole pump, but I do not see how that is possible, my ATX clip (unplugged) keeps getting on the way and I keep jacking my knuckles on the main pully. Any suggestions for getting that hose off before I blow the car up?
Thanks.

Usually taking the intake tube, air filter box, battery, and the hose off of the radiator will give plenty of room (fold it back).

To get a hose off of an aluminum nipple, pull at one spot and mabe slide something dull under the hose end. Not a screwdriver or a knife, more like a letter opener.

Use scotch-brite to get the corrosion off of the nipple and make sure the hose is not dammaged or you will drown your engine when you start it and that sux.

OK got it fixed, the old H20 pump had a metal impellar, and looked OK, but the gasket was shot. Replaced with an Autozone cheapo unfortunately. Also put in a 180 degree thermostat. Put everything back in topped fluids, and went for a drive and noe the temp guage is still reading around the M or a little higher. Is this normal or too hot. When I run the AC it drops a little lower. Any Ideas?
