Code #0157 which as you guys know or may not know is bank #2 sensor #2. I've already replaced both in bank #1 and now its moving over to bank #2. I'm wondering if it has anything to do with my "free flowing" exhaust which is either making my car run leaner or richer? Also I wonder if the O2 can't handle this "extra flow", so if anyone has had the same problems as me please chime in. The first O2 was dented during the "mystery mod" and I had to pay for that one out of my pocket, $135.00. The next one was replaced under warrenty because it was shown to be "weak" but the tech also told me that the front MIL was bad because he took it upon himself to switch them just to "see" what would happen on his scan tool and it told him the MIL was bad, but after leaving the dealership and having the code cleared, the CEL didn't come back on for 1700 miles and it was another CEL...code #0157  In closing and IMO, don't gut the precats, its not even worth it. Maybe with all these "bad" O2 sensors this is why my car only dyno'd at 159.1 hp instead of the 170-175 hp that I thought I should have pulled

I have an appointment at the dealership this Friday to have the O2 sensor replaced, under warrenty and I may just go ahead and have them replace bank #2 sensor #1 while there at it, I mean its logical to think its the next one to go seeing thats its the last one I haven't replaced yet :p By the way, whats the code # for bank #2 sensor #1 O2 sensor anyways

the codes for the bank are numerical, i don't know if that explains it correctly or not, but for example if Bank #1, Upstream is say 124, than Bank #2 Upstream should be 125.......I could be wrong tho. I just went thru the same thing. Save some money if its not under warranty, go to Your local advance and pick the downstream one up for 65 and upstream is 75ish I think. Downstream P/N is 13133 Bosch.
