Thanks man I've raced other peoples SVT's on the track and got close to to thier best time (within a tenth) and only ran thier car once! (except for Tavis' car, messed the launch up bad - first time with SVT clutch)

It's a hard, but not too hard, slip at 3000 so your secondaries kick in at the right spot. The closer RPM you can get it to launch to the secondaries without them opening, after the clutch is fully engaged, the better.

It helps out a little bit, when the car is cold, (when it's suppose to run rich) you can lean that sucker out, and flat out FLY. It's better when your at the track to let the car sit for at least 1 hour to cool. You can buy a bag of ice to help there too.
PS need somone's Y pipe to mess with, I gotta optimize it!! Mine is still stock! And if anyone's got a 60mm (SVT) TB I would like to buy that too.

I haven't ran mine at a track, but I'm pretty sure it will do high 14's considering how it stacks up against local bolt on 5.0's and pre 99 gt's. Since I haven't ran it though take it w/ a grain of salt.

i run a 14.8, slowest was 15.4 missed 2nd, consistantly at sea level. before engine was blown with n2o. i had a wet 75 shot but did not have 1/4s or dynos with that.
103 top speed n/a 2.5L svt bm short shift short ram intake cat back exhaust
i have dyno slips too it says my car with 68k had 188 hp at front wheels 350 ft lbs tourque ina 3rd gear pull. sounds wacky
it was a "mustang" brand chassis dyno

so you picked up almost a second (from an average stock SVT) in your 1/4 mile from an intake, cat back, and short shifter??!! 350 ft/lbs of torque huh.... is that a 103 trap speed?! right....I want some of what you're drinkin...

Reread what he said. He mentioned a 75 shot of nitrous, which if anything I'd expect a little lower than what you got.

If you re read it, it says he had a wet shot of nitrous but no 1/4s or dynos with that. Which leads to: He wasn't using it or didn't have it for the times listed. That's why this is extremely unbelievable.
