Doesn't even matter, your Cougar shares many similar components (like the platform, haha) and is a part of the CEG. A Cougar can sometimes be interpreted as the two-door Contour.

Because ATX's suck more power than an MTX and they (most of them) are not performance orientated. They change up too soon also.
I have never driven an ATX equipped car I liked, never.
