My car broke down on the way home. I had the HVAC recall done last week. Has anyone had electrical failure from having that replaced? They think it is my alternator.
I was driving along... my stereo went out... then my radar detector...then my instrument panel...then my car felt like it was taking off from a stop in second gear...then complete electrical failure...
this sounded different.. when my alternator went out at 71,000 miles it just died with no warning while i was making a left turn in front of oncoming traffic.
