well my buddy (and fellow ceger) gave me a new set of b+g springs. well not actually gave me, but i can pay him back whenever. i don't want to install them on stock struts so i think i decided to go with the bilstiens. i'd go konis but money is a small issue but more so, i know that since i'm lazy, once i found the right setting i liked for everyday driving, i'd keep it at that. so the adjustable feature isn't that important to me. i obvioulsy looked at the the bat euro strut. is there much of a difference between the bat and bilstien that is THAT much more noticeable?

anyway. i just thought i'd get some of your inputs as to my future set up. i know not too many people are runnin the b+g's (these aren't the autobahns with the crazy front end drop) so any opinions are welcome.

thanks

From what I hear, I'd get the bilsteins, the review that guy did said they ride better than stock even with the aggresive drop of intrax springs and make the car handle much better than with stock svt struts and the intrax springs. I'd do the same thing if I was lowering my car a good bit (i.e. not just the roush drop) and had money for struts.

thanks. i actually just read that review and i think that just about sold me. unfortunately i don't exactly have the money for the struts plus install right now. maybe in a month or two. i only have to pay my buddy back 150 for the springs . so i'm guessing i'm gonna have to cough up around 700 for the struts and install. unless i can find a ceger in the philly area that can help me install everything . but yah, i'm really looking forward to this set up. i'm interested to try out the b+g springs.

The install isn't that hard. It helps to have air tools, but only to make the job go quicker. You can do it.

see that's the thing, i just moved into a new apartment and have no tools or a place to work on the car. i'm sure i could probably figure it out (not too bad mechanicly, but by no means a mechanic). i just don't have the space or the tools.

I guess that does pose a problem. If you can't find a CEGer or a cheap shop to do it, stop at a local ricer hangout and ask some of them (especially lowered truck owners) if they or anyone they knew can do it for cheap.
