I have so much that I want to do to my car but the time factor (and more importantly the MONEY factor) aren't allowing me to do it. My car looks like hell right now. Paint job is in bad shape from the rough weather here and the fact I have no gargage to keep it in. Makes me so mad when I look at it. I've gone the route of adding the GO now and the SHOW later, even though I want a CF hood, body kit, rims, etc etc. Ugh sometimes I get so frustrated due to lack of patience that I just think about buying a new car and starting over.
I've started to dump large (to me) amount of money into my car with more planned in the future but sometimes (and I wonder if anyone else goes through this while modding their 'tour) "Is all this money really worth it?" I mean am I ever going to get this car going as fast as I want? Sometimes I think "NO" but I've already begun so I can't stop now. Then I see someone with a really nice ride (you know who you are I'm not gonna list em all) and I think "Man I'm so jealous of that guy's car, I MUST continue on and get mine on that level of quality"

Anyway, been a slow Friday and I think I've been thinking too much...which is rarely something that happens to me. Time to get off work and hop in my car for a ride, the one thing that ALWAYS reminds me of why I keep modding my car.

Someone on here a while back (can't remember who) said it best "The best mod is a full tank of gas and an open road"

Realized that nothing is never actually totally DONE on my car. For instance, to most people it looks and runs great, but I know the headlights need to be sanded/polished, there's a minor clunk developing somewhere in the rear suspension, and it hasn't quite run perfectly after the cat was replaced. Plus I intended to redo my console this spring/summer, but never did.

Perhaps this is the curse of the car buff - you can never be totally done.

I just want to know which song on the album brought this on, the cd has been in my cars cd player about 300 hrs since it came out and i haven't had any thoughts like that yet

Don't remind me. The "to do" out weighs the "money coming in".

Money coming in...? After bills for rent and such, the only spare money I have for my car comes in when whoever I bet on covers the spread.
