My MY2000 Duratec Mystique recently had the 'hesitation/bucking' problem.
Thanks to these forums the symptoms and cause were easily recognizable. i.e. symptoms only appeared with fuel below ½ full and got worse the lower the fuel level got. Interestingly - and something I haven't seen
mentioned before - is that the problem of lack of power and 'bucking' was easily reproducible by going round left hand turns. Taking a left turn fairly briskly would, every time, cause the embarrassing and potentially dangerous loss of power. A new fuel pump has solved the problem.
