The other weekend I tried the 'fog light mod' on my car and it didn't work. Don't know why, so I put all the wires back correctly and taped them up. But my fogs wouldn't work anymore. I have never had any problems with them before. All the connections are good and there are no loose wires, but I noticed that the ceramic relay was very hot from me turning them on and off to test them. Also, I checked the fuse and it was fine. Is it possible that the relay is bad? Should I just go buy a new relay (ceramic box), or is it something else?
Thanx.

I presume it was f5 in the engine compartment fuse box that you checked. f26 on the interior fuse panel also has to be intact to have fogs work.

You could pull relay and check coil continuity with meter. Never had this relay out but you could check if any other in car matches and substitute to confirm diagnosis, before purchase.
