I need help on my next mods. what route I should go. As of now I have only the Y-Pipe and rear mufflers installed. I have the exhaust but not installed, and the vcn is not either. I want to really open up the breathing first. I'm gonna order the large K+N, make my own heat shield and custom CAI. i'm also really considering having the uim/lim PnP Any Suggestions on my next mods before I install the N20 and full exhaust? With just a y-pipe i put down 164whp/147wtq How can i get to around 180's whp/160's wtq Thanks in advance

you dont really "polish" uim and lim. you mainly just port match them or enlarge them a millemeter or two. its the heads that get ported and polished. Just give the LIM a good cleaning, especially the secondaries. do some cheap mods like gut the precats and optimize the TB to pick up a few hp. If you plan on keeping the car, buy a set of msds headers. And IMO, I would go with true duals. Most importantly, get some dyno time and have the place burn you a chip.

Headers or gut the pre cats, 75mm MAF, 63mm trottle body, remove resinator if you have not. You have alot of options you have not done to open up air flow.

Thanks
That's because you don't use an X pipe. You have to use exhaust marker (like a crayola) and fire the duals up and mark where the pulse points are, and then try and connect the them...but they aren't that close to each other. Its better to run no cross-over than a misplaced cross-over...

i wouldnt recommend getting the 75mm MAF unless you get the provided flow chart from Pro-Flow and go to a dyno and check out your air/fuel first. Then have them burn a chip accordingly.

Joe, do some inexpensive mods like opitmization of the TB, LIM butterflies, and of course cleaning up the UIM/LIM/head inlets.

I agree. Also maybe invest in a CTA intake pipe. The proflow is hit or miss with alot people(mainly miss).

What's up Bro??? How you been? Thanks for the advice. I'm gonna set a 3 day weekend aside in a few weeks, and go through and do all the cleaning, plus intake.
What exactly do i do with the butterflies?
Thanks, Joe

You can optimize them like you would the TB.
