OMG!! No they won't fit, 4x108 is our bolt pattern and a 25 lb. wheel is extremely heavy. Sounds more like 20s than 17s.

My 17"s almost weigh 25lbs. My wheel+tire=more than 38lbs.

My rims weigh 17.5 lbs. each and total wheel/tire weight= 40 lbs. My E1 rim/tire combo weighed in at 43 lbs., so this confirms the weight (E1 rims weigh about 20 lbs.) If you have a 25 lb. wheel, you're looking at around 48 lbs. each. That's a monster of a difference. The rage rims you have appear to be light as there is less material, but they could be cast iron.... Your combo is definitely more than 38 lbs. unless your rims weigh 15 lbs. each.

those 12lbs 15s on zxtuner are mighty tempting...I'd even take em in 16s too just to create a happy median between looks and function.
I've suddenly felt the urge to build up my zetec.

Hmm I see a sudden change of heart in you ninja. I know the difference you feel with your change to 17"s is less than my change because of our different trannies (and most likely driving styles). I never weighed my 17"s just looked at boxes they came in info. But my 14"s with tires weighed ~34lbs. That's a pretty big difference + the size change hurts performance as well. The 15"s with tires would most likely weigh in at under 30lbs. The difference in acceleration would be very noticeable on a zetec and handling (with decent tires) would also improve. I'd love to just trade my scratched Rages and a little money for some light 15"s.

I belive my wheels are about 18-19lbs each so there would be a noticeable difference
The only thing I don't like about 15s is the sidewall size of the tire, its too thick for my tastes, although they fit the hatch pretty nice they seem a little small for tours...although I'd definitely get it for auto x...I still kinda want some though even though they wouldn't be the best looking.
I blame my change of heart on Honda owners (jdmcivic.com) actually...
dont think i'll be downgrading in size anytime soon, just spent some $$$ on Kumho Ecsta 712 for the fronts...

I agree they're not the best looking size wize, but the performance will be nice. I actually want 1 set of 17"s (got it), one set of 18"s, and the lightest 15"s I can find.... it'll happen one day.
