Well thats what I thought too so I took the pump out to observe it, and nothing was wrong a lil grit in the bottom of the pump housing but that was all, the sock still looked ok. Car is bucking just like the first time the stock pump went out.
well i'll tell you that i just got my bat pump put in yesterday and had to fix it today so im not too sure that bat's stuff is great. i mean think about it......you get what you pay for and their price was half of what everyone else had so that might mean something too. the strainer they sent me didnt even fit. i had to rig it in there so im sure that may cause an issue. my car was still bucking a little yesterday when i first put it in and its been ok so far today. i think it may be possible the pumps going bad again but as much crap that i found in my tank it could be a # of other things. try replacing the fuel filter and running some fuel injector cleaner a couple times. ford told me to run cleaner once a week for a month and then once a month. sounds extreme to me though
