I have to replace my O2 sensor, the one coming off the CAT at the front of the engine bay... What kind of tools will I need to get this out? I tried a crows foot, but that will not fit, because of the thin steel plate covering the CAT... What else would you suggest?

Thanks in advance.

There is a special tool to pull it. They sell it at most parts stores in my area. IIRC, $10.

Its an O2 sensor socket, mine is the flat black, impact socket style. If you were closer, I would let you borrow mine.

I got it out and put my new one in, I just had to go the hard route... I took out the bolts that held the sheild inplace at the top removed my dipstick and tube and pulled back the cover and got a 7/8" wrench down there... Not the easiest way, but it worked...

Hey ExDelayed, is that socket the slotted socket type?
