Be glad it was in your air filter and NOT under the dash. Once mice take up residence in a vehicle they make a stinking mess. You might want to set a sticky trap in your car just to see if any have gotten inside. They are bad news....

Mice can absolutely destroy the wiring harness in a short time..............Big trouble.
