Hello i wanted to know all of your feelings about my sentra se-r('93 high port sr20). I have a 98.5 svt as well. I went to the track and ran both cars in tuscon, AZ. Best with the se-r is 15.0. Thats with stock internals and intake, race exhaust(stock header), gutted interior, and crappy junk yard tires. My contour(stock) was at 15.4 with a 2.3 60". My sentra was 1.9(gotta love lsd) but the trap was alittle higher on the contour. If you ever have $2000 layin around get an old se-r. They are amazing if you want a great little weekend racer. Oh and this is at 3000 ft. elevation. any one else have an se-r on the side?

1.9? Even with an LSD I find that hard to believe with the mods you listed.

I have a friend with a 91 SE-R with a T3/04E turbo setup. Not a performance system on that car we haven't touched, tweaked or otherwise modified. I'm sure once I show him this post he'll post somehting up, goes by the name coachflip on these boards. Actually I'm the freak among a bunch of Nissan junkies, theres the guy I mentioned, then his little bro runs an NX2000, another friend has a 92 Sentra SE-R, and one other guy I know down by Lansing drives another NX2000. All are modded, the 92 has a JDM SR20 in it and coachflips bros NX is getting a T25, or is 28...don't remember. I don't remember what all the NX by Lansing has but it's got a ton as well. They are nice little cars with tons of potential. I would never ever underestimate one at the track or a stoplight.

He prolly meant a trap of 2.9 and that 15 is about right for a stock car with exhaust. I know bolt ons and cams can get 14.6, and a gutted car at 2000 lbs will get you a 14.1 with full bolt ons, no NOS or forced induction. I plan on 13.3 with street tires and into the mid 12's on slicks with my turbo sentra. That sentra is a sweet car man, they handle awesome, and a great support group at www.sr20deforum.com

I dont think that he ment it had a 2.9, if contours trap was higher. and with lower 60ft it woulda killed it.(unless its top speed is its trap speed, and it gets there in a hurry)
