Thanks,
But now I have worse problems.
Ford called to let me know that my car was ready. I was having a recall done, not related to the fuse panel.
I picked up my car and left.
Here is what I found: turn signals not working, trip meter and Km counter not working speedometer not working, no brake lights, wipers won't shut off, ABS light won't shut off, panel inside car for the radio and heat controls not put back on properly and is falling off. I went back to them and asked how this happened as the car went in to them working properly except for the heater blower. They said it was the circuit board that was putting everything out and until i agree to fix it there was nothing they could do for me. So back I go in the morning to raise hell. They said oh it was nothing we did, but funny, everything worked when the car went in. And do they always let cars go out to thier customers not safe to drive. Can anyone tell me, would the circuit board do this all of a sudden? Because prior to this the only thing that was not working was the fuse for the heat. Do they not have to check the car before it goes back out to the customer?
DO they not have to let the customer know they are letting the car go out without brake lights and no speedometer or signals before they let you drive it out on the road?
I honestly feel it was something they did to to cause all these problems. And they really feel that the battery had nothing to do with the fuse toasting in the first place.
Mad is not the word for it...What would you do?
