I like Nissan. My wife a 2001 SE Sentra. Its been a pretty good car. I think I might have to steal if from her though:

Ok how did he blow the engine? Are the engines bad or something in the v-spec?

I think nissan did a recall to fix it (though he had one recall done before this happened), but under hard acceleration, the catalytic convertor would crumble and get sucked back into the engine. And you can't help but accelerate hard with a spec-v.
