My contour has throttle hang but only when it wants too, it will start then go away and come back like a few weeks later, what is up with this? anyone else had this problem, It happens when your putting the car in neutral from a gear when your stopping????

what should I do about this , is there a fix?

You might want to verify that the throttle isn't sticking. Next time it acts up, pop the hood and see if the throttle linkage is returning to the idle stop when you let off the gas. Other than that, I would say common throttle hang or perhaps a flaky/sticking IAC valve.
