i just pulled out my gauges to see how many LEDs i would need to re-bulb it, and i have a few questions:

1. to change the needle color when the lights are on, do i need to take the needle off the gauge? or is there just a seperate bulb that i change?

2. i know that to strip the colored film off the backside to the gauge, i have to take off the actual gauge dial piece and use steel wool, but does that mean that i will have to re-calibrate my gauges (tach and speedo are no big deal, but i have no idea how to set the gas and temp gauges.)
i am not putting on new gauge overlays, so i am hoping it will be fairly easy

thanks for the

also, the backlighting bulbs from superbrightleds.com will work right?
