I just got back from Japan and I had a blast! Great food, great sights. I thought Iā??d share some of the pix with everyone. Naturally, I took a bunch of car pix Note the helicopter pix (I want a Cobra!). I was at Futenma and Kadena air bases for part of my trip. The airmen were really cool and let me into the hanger to snap a few shots. They were securing the bases for the holiday weekend so there are no weapons on the aircraft but it was still a great experience. I took pix of some Harriers, F-18s and F-16s doing maneuvers, but I left that SD card in Japan. All in all it was an awesome trip. Oh and if my job asks I did A LOT of work as well okay? LOL! One thing Iā??ve gotta mention is the pic showing a rainbow. That was taken during night time! It was about 7:30pm, itā??s raining and Iā??m in traffic then bam, a rainbow at night! I jumped out right there because I had to get a pic of that.

Onto the car pix. I took pix of obscure cars as well as desirable ones. Take a look at the silver Mitsubishi. I think it looks like a Supra and a Cougar had a baby! It was really nice looking. It would probably sell over here given the chance. Man, why do they get all the good stuff!? I also got some pix of a few Skylines and one of them is wrecked. Did anyone know that they sell the Skyline over here? Yep, itā??s called the Infinity G35 coupe or sedan, take your pick. According to what I saw, the Infinity G35 is badged the Nissan Skyline GT over there. Go figure! I caught Skyline Fever so bad that I ended up buying one! (okay, so it's a Tamiya radio controlled model) Don't miss the Lexus SC400 (aka Toyota Soarer), ITā??S GOT A SUPRA TWIN TURBO ENGINE!! We didnā??t get that configuration over here dammit! Man, you can get one of the 92'-94' SC300-400s for a song right now! It would rock with that turbo Supra engine! I also like the older Subaru Impreza body style especially since they had it in WRX form. Check out the Civic Si sedan (not that Iā??d buy one, but it was different). I really got a kick out of seeing a 92' Twin Turbo RX-7 (modded) for only $6,500! I couldnā??t believe it! It only had 40k on the clock and it was in great shape! You canā??t touch one of those over here for less than $14k+! There were also a couple modded station wagons Iā??d be proud to own. I saw a few Subaru Legacy GTs and they were badged 3.4 liter!?! Does anyone know anything about that? Oh, and the Mazda6 is called the Aventa over there and it comes in a hatch. I got a pic of one, but itā??s not a very good one. Anyway, hope ya enjoy the pix.

IIRC that little silver Mitsu is the FTO. I don't think Mitsu would bring it here because it would kill eclipse sales, and they would make even less money.

That said, i've always really liked it; though, i would much, much rather have an Elise . . .

I was stationed in Kadena for 4 years( Airforce). Was good money but those guys are go go go all the time really sucked working 12hour shifts all the time, especially with a family. Wish I had pics. My Favorite looking car was the Silady basically a 180sx with a silvia front clip. Skylines get old there everyone has one.
